Dr Andrei Tutoveanu is a dual qualified and registered Dental Practitioner & Pharmacist. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry, previously attaining a Masters of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Medical Science- specialising in medicinal chemistry.

With combined academic and clinical training spanning over a decade, Dr Andrei enjoys providing a high level of treatment and patient care. He demonstrates proficiencies within the fields of aesthetic & implant dentistry, cosmetic & functional facial injectables and clinical pharmacotherapeutics. He has special interests in the areas of medicinal indications, dosage regimens, specific contraindications and side effect profiles, including ideal therapeutic combinations, within all clinical aspects of dentistry.

Using his dual qualifications, Dr Andrei has established a unique and contemporary CPD-accredited pharmacotherapeutics program for the Australian Dental Association (ADA), targeted at both general & specialist dental practitioners of all disciplines. Dr Andrei is an active presenter on the Domestic and International lecture circuits. He is a speaker for Nobel Biocare, presenting to dental colleagues and practitioners on the topics of implant dentistry and comprehensive treatment planning and case selection protocols. He is also a popular presenter for the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) Oral Health Continuing Profession Development (CPD) day at Westmead Center of Oral Health (WCOH).

He is a keynote speaker for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) and editorial contributor for The Australian Journal of Pharmacy (AJP) and is involved with the Australasian College of Legal Medicine as an opinion leader and presenter Dr Andrei is recognised internationally having been invited to America to establish and head a pharmacology and clinical therapeutic program for the KOIS Center in Seattle. Additionally, Dr Andrei was invited to be Scientific Advisor in Pharmacology and Therapeutics for North America.

Committed to continuous education, Dr Andrei is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) association and has undertaken numerous courses abroad including the internationally recognised ‘KOIS’ prosthodontic & periodontic programs in Seattle, USA and the ‘Masters Clinical program in Implant Dentistry’ from the Global Institute of Dental Education (gIDE) at the Universities of California (UCLA) and Loma Linda in Las Angeles, USA.

Passionate about the future of the health profession, Dr Andrei is involved with assessing and marking new graduates in their pharmacy Intern Training Program (ITP). He presides on the interview selection panel for the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery program at the University of Western Sydney and is proud to help select and guide the doctors of tomorrow.

Dr Andrei currently works in private practice in Sydney and continues to consult with other dental practitioners, receiving referral cases regarding
clinical therapeutic management protocols for patients in both surgical and restorative dentistry.
