Dr Andrei Tutoveanu is a dual-qualified and registered Dental Practitioner and Pharmacist. He completed a Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Sydney, following a Master of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Medical Science with a major in medicinal chemistry.

With more than two decades of combined academic and clinical experience, Dr Andrei is committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. His pursuit of excellence is evident across aesthetic and implant dentistry, cosmetic and functional facial injectables, and clinical pharmacotherapeutics. Leveraging his unique dual qualifications, he has developed specialist expertise in medicinal indications, dosage regimens, contraindications, side-effect profiles, and therapeutic optimisation within all clinical aspects of dentistry.

Dr Andrei founded a contemporary, CPD-accredited pharmacotherapeutics program for the Australian Dental Association (ADA)—a first of its kind—designed for both general and specialist dental practitioners. He is an active lecturer across domestic and international circuits, presenting for organisations including the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, and previously for Nobel Biocare, where he delivered training on implant dentistry, treatment planning, and case selection.

Beyond dentistry, he is also a sought-after keynote speaker for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) and a regular editorial contributor to the Australian Journal of Pharmacy (AJP). He continues to consult and present to registrars and specialist medical officers at Royal North Shore Private Hospital, focusing on dental trauma, surgical intervention, and pain-management protocols.

Internationally recognised, Dr Andrei was invited to the United States to establish and lead a pharmacology and clinical therapeutics program for the KOIS Center in Seattle. He was also invited to serve as Scientific Advisor in Pharmacology and Therapeutics for North America and was a keynote speaker at the 2018 KOIS Symposium. Committed to ongoing professional development, he is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and has completed advanced training abroad, including the prestigious KOIS prosthodontic and periodontic programs and the gIDE Master Clinical Program in Implant Dentistry at UCLA and Loma Linda University.

Passionate about shaping the future of the profession, Dr Andrei served on the ADA Education and Research Committee (ERC) and continues to sit on interview panels for the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery programs at the University of Western Sydney and the University of Wollongong. He has also contributed to assessing and mentoring new pharmacy graduates through the Intern Training Program.

Dr Andrei currently practises at his private clinic in the heart of Mosman, on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. He continues to accept referrals from dental colleagues for guidance on clinical therapeutic management, spanning both surgical and restorative disciplines.

Recognised for his dual expertise, Dr Andrei have been published in NSW Dentist on three occasions and was also asked to hold a podcast for the ADA regarding the codeine rescheduling.
